Excellent question, and we're glad you're curious! Well, for starters - we're certainly keeping busy. However lots of new, exciting things are in the pipeline - so just hold tight!

  - BlackBaller for S60 3rd will be seeing a major update as promised, and it's just around the corner. Expect it any day now.

  - Total Recal 3rd is also being updated with nearly 10 new features and enhancements that have been requested by current users

  - Tracer is in the works - in fact, we'll be looking for beta testers soon. We're wrapping up the web based user control panel as e speak

  - Advanced SMS is about half way done. We'll also be looking for some early beta testers for this exciting new app in the coming days.

  - Web Based SMS utilities. We think there's a bright future for the integration of SMS based web hosted utilities and we'll be launching a few of these in the coming weeks.

If you're interested in being a beta tester, please email us the application you're wanting to beta test along with your device model and IMEI number and we'll be in touch.

Call Recording - Not Just For Spies & Government Agencies Anymore

It used to be that recording a phone call, be it land line or mobile conjured up a vision of James Bond, the police or even the FBI. Fixed line call recording is still seen as taboo, and confusion reigns supreme over the legalities involved in recording calls, especially mobile calls. "There's a broad misconception regarding call recording on a world wide level" commented Killer Mobile Software Owner Josh Alner, going onto say "Every day we encounter people that think it's absolutely illegal to record a call no matter what the situation, and it couldn't be further from the truth!".

Most people would be surprised to know that 40 U.S. states have "One Party Notification" laws - meaning that only one party of a call needs to be aware that it is being recorded. Many countries have similar laws, including Mexico which recently put into affect a one party call recording notification law.

This means that you can call or receive a call from someone and knowingly record the conversation and have abslutely no legal responsibility of letting the other party know that the call is being taped. In some states there  are consumer protection laws that can come into play if the call is being recorded and used for business purposes, so it is always wise to know your local laws in this regards prior to recording calls for business purposes.

Mobile Call Recording has been a hot topic ever since devices began shipping with an audio recorder, with bloggers and journalists writing about the pro's and con's of a world where your every call is recorded and stored for all eternity and just how the device manufacturers would handle the legal burden of enabling this. However the truth turns out that just because a cell phone comes equipped with this functionality doesn't mean that recording the call is even possible. In fact, very few devices are capable of recording anything other than the audio coming from the device itself, and even fewer can record anything more than a few minutes of a call without the  help of 3rd party software, and many of those play some sort of warning tone that the other side can hear, indicating the call is being recorded.

Enter "Total Recall S60 Call Recorder". Total Recall is a mobile phone application developed by Killer Mobile ® Software LLC based in Portland, OR that runs on S60 (Symbian OS) Devices, which includes mobile phones such as the extremely popular Nokia N and E series. Total Recall enables automatic, high quality, silent and unlimited length call recording for both incoming and outgoing calls. Other features of this cutting edge mobile software include automatic sending of the recorded call clips via Email or MMS, advanced call filtering rules, autostart on device reboot, 100% background operation, intelligent clip naming and manual call recording using hot keys. "Total Recall is one of our hot sellers right now, and rightfully so. Call recording has so many useful applications outside of the spy realm!" joked Alner.

In fact, call recording can be extremely useful for business, professional and even private use, including Attorneys, Private Investigators, Businessmen, Road Warriors, Busy On-The-Go Moms and of course the occasional Spy or Double Agent!
