BlackBaller is an easy to use Call & Message (SMS/MMS) Filter application. The program allows you to create Blacklists (blocks all numbers on the list) or Whitelists (blocks all calls NOT on the list). NOTE: Install to your internal device memory for optimum performance MAIN MENU --------- From the main menu you will see any currently setup lists, which you can modify, as well as two options buttons, "Options" & "Hide". Options -> Exit - This will exit the application and the application will no longer be active. Hide (right softkey) will place the application into the background. The application will be active CREATE A NEW LIST ----------------- Options (left softkey) -> List -> New - Allows you to setup a new list List Settings 1 - Name - Set the name of the list 2 - Type - Blacklist or Whitelist 3 - Filter Calls - Yes/No - Default is no 4 - Fiter SMS/MMS - Yes/No - Default is no 5 - Default SMS response - Allows you to setup an auto SMS resonse to a blocked call or message 6 - Default SMS resp txt - the text you wish to use for the default SMS response 7 - Send SMS Response - Send One Per Day/Send Always - Allows you to limit the per caller SMS response to be sent only once. 9 - Use List Timer - Yes/No - Default is No 10 - Start Time (only available if use List timer is set to "Yes") - allows you to set the start time for the list being active 11 - End Time (only available if use List timer is set to "Yes") - allows you to set the end time for the list being active Press Done when you have finished setting up the list. You can create as many lists as you want, and each can be active or deactive based on your preferences. ** The options below are only available when a list has been created Options -> List -> -> Edit - Allows you to edit the numbers on the list -> Delete - Deletes the list -> Options - Allows you to edit the list settings Options -> Enable/Disable - Turn the list highlighted on/off (toggle) SETTING UP YOUR LIST -------------------- Highlight the list you wish to add numbers to and choose: Options -> List -> Edit (or you can simply highlight the list you wish to edit and click the joystick button) Options -> + Add Number 1 - From Contacts - Allows you to select contacts to add to the list 2 - Enter Manually - Allows you to manually input numbers to add to the list 3 - Private Number - Will add any number that does not display, such as Unknown, Private or Withheld numbers 4- PhoneLog - Allows you to add the number from your phone logs + Add Person - Allows you to add any contact to the lsit + Add Group - Allows you to add entire groups to the list + Add All Non-Contacts - Will filter calls from anyone that is not in your contacts + Delete - Delete the entry in your list + Mark/Unmark - Allows you to mark/unmark an entry in your list to perform an action + Number Settings - These options are entry (contact, number etc) specific 1 - Use Permanantly Yes/No ("Yes" is default) - Allows you to set the entry to be used forever or to set an optional expiration date for when the entry will become inactive 2 - Expiration Date (only available if the above is set to "No") - Set the date a list entry (contact) should become inactive. 3 - Enabled/Disabled - Allows you to set an entry (contact) as enabled (default) or disabled. If disabled this number will not be filtered/blocked 4 - SMS Response - Allows you to set an entry (contact) specific SMS auto response which overrides any default list specific SMS auto reply Press Back when you are finished editing the list to save. LOG SCREEN ---------- The log screen is accessed by pressing your joystick key to the right. This will display the logs screen. The logs will be displayed with the most recent log first. Both Filtered Call Logs and SMS logs will be displayed together with an icon indicating which are for calls and which are for SMS's. NOTE: Any filtered call will also remove this call log entry NOTE 2: You must mark a new call log as "read" or open the SMS log for the red indicator icon to turn back to it's normal (black) status Call Logs - Options -> 1 - Call 2 - Delete 3 - Delete All 4 - Mark as Read 5 - Exit SMS Logs - Options -> 1 - Call 2 - Show Message 3 - Restore 4 - Delete 5 - Delete All 6 - Exit APPLICATIONS SETTINGS SCREEN ---------------------------- The Settings screen is accessed by pressing your joystick key to the right (once if you are at the Logs screen, and twice if you are at the Main screen) 1 - Smart Reject Sensor - Smart reject Sensor will prompt you to add any number you manually reject to the active blacklist 2 - Log Duration - Sets how long your log entries are saved 3 - AutoStart - (default is "Disabled") Autostarts the program each time you reboot your device 4 - Password Protection - (default is "Disabled") Implements a required password to access the application 5 - Pwd - If the above is set to yes, this is the password you set Options (left softkey) -> Exit - Closes (shuts down) the application Hide (right softkey) -> Pressing hide will put the application in the background. The application will still be active When the application is running, you will see a small BlackBaller status indicator icon in the top right part of your screen. This indicator icon will turn red when you have a new filtered call or SMS. ABOUT SCREEN ------------ The About screen is accessed by pressing your joystick key to the right (once if you are at the Settings screen, and twice if you are at the Logs screen, and three times if you are on the main screen) Options (left softkey) -> Help - Displays the help document you are reading now. Options (left softkey) -> Exit - Closes (shuts down) the application Hide (right softkey) -> Pressing hide will put the application in the background.
