It could be useful an application for defragmenting the memory card of the phone in order to improve the perfomance.

this idea does not make any sense - defragmentation only makes sense when the storage device has moving parts like a harddisk. In a hard disk moving the head moves along the platter and defragmentation reduces seek time (the head has to move a smaller distance) but for solid state disks like the memory card on a phone which has no moving parts it would make no difference if the data on the disk is fragmentated or not as it takes exactly the same time to access any part of the disk regardless if two pieces of data are together or not.
