I really hope that this problem will be resolved in the next release... it's very annoying...

is there a way to stop those beeps when it begins without closing total recall?

If I set the recording quality to a lower value or change the recording format, will I continue to get those beeps?

Hi. I record nice in quality "best" and "low" without beep on my nokia 6110 navigator. But I just found out that I have exactly the same problem when receiving a sms while recording that phone starts beeping. I have the newest version of total recall (3.0.1). If anyone here find a solution for this problem please post here. I won't do any recording as long this problem exist - It isn't good at all when it starts beeping in the middle of a conversation. I really hope for a program update and will wait buy a license for such a release.

This is a big issue for this type of application. Because usually you record and don't want the other person to know or to find out you doing it. I'm sorry to say that I can't use the program with this error and really hope for an update because the programs seems good as such.

Hi again. I did some additional test to see what happening when sms is incomming while you are recording.

With qality low and sms sound disabled phone had to be rebooted.

With qality best and ring-tones disabled it actually works and you won't hear any beeping . So for me on the nokia 6110 navigator i have to use the soundless profile to ensure that no beeps don't start while recording. I can use that for some call but still not quite satisfied.

Regarding the beep, this is a known issue, and technically expected behavior. One way around this would be to use the "low" sound quality setting.

it's still beeping on a Nokia E71 even you set the sound quality to low...

On the E71, make sure you're using the latest version (which was recently updated)and set your warning tones to off for your active profile. then set the sound quality setting to best. The beep will be gone.
